Job summary
Job Summary The Temporary Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by safely handling materials, fulfilling orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is based at the company’s head office and warehouse in Calgary SE and is part of a LEAN Operations team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Load and unload materials safely and efficiently * Pick, pack, and prepare warehouse orders for shipment * Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition * Perform inventory counts and support inventory accuracy * Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment, as required * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment * Follow company procedures, safety standards, and LEAN practices * Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality * Support other warehouse and labour-related duties as needed Qualifications * Previous experience as a material handler, warehouse associate, or order picker preferred * Forklift and/or warehouse equipment experience considered an asset * Valid forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain) * WHMIS certification preferred * Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written); ESL candidates welcome * Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Detail-oriented, reliable, and quick learner * Ability to wear CSA-approved safety boots (all other PPE provided) * Reliable transportation to Calgary SE location * Availability to work Monday to Friday, daytime hours, with occasional overtime as required Working Conditions * Warehouse and manufacturing environment * Physical role requiring lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks
