Under the project manager’s supervision, the superintendent leads a work team and ensures the good running of work on site. Responsibilities Managing all activities related to the execution of construction work; Correctly interpret plans and specifications to ensure compliance with the schedule; Informing the project manger with the subcontractor’s performance; Ensure the quality log work performed; Ensure the implementation and enforcement of the health and safety policies at work; Participating in site meetings; Completing the log sheet of the work and quantities. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in a construction trade Technical diploma in civil engineering (an asset) Knowledge of construction laws and regulations Strong knowledge of equipment, execution standards, and work methods Ability to obtain a security clearance Skills And Attitudes Required Strong planning and organizational skills Ability to act quickly and efficiently Motivating and unifying leadership style Good physical condition and ability to work under pressure Security Requirement This role requires eligibility for Secret Level Security Clearance. EBC will support the successful candidate through the required government security screening process to ensure they meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information and sensitive assets.
