## Job Summary Join our team as a weekend Dinner Chef where your culinary expertise will shine in our dynamic retreat style environment. We are looking for a passionate individual with a flair for creating delicious dishes and leading a team to culinary success. As a weekend Dinner Chef , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality food preparation and service, contributing to the overall dining experience for our guests. ## Duties - Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking and presentation - Coordinate meal prep to ensure timely and efficient service - Experience preparing vegetarian and/or vegan meals would be an asset - Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations in the kitchen area - Experience preparing meals to adhere to special dietary requires (allergies, gluten free, dairy free etc) would be an asset but is not required - Follow proper cooking techniques and procedures ## Requirements - Proven experience or training as a Chef/Cook or in a similar culinary role - Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, food industry standards, and food preparation techniques would be an asset - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment This position is part time position, working 3-4 weekends per month. The shifts are Friday, Sat and sometimes Sunday from approx 1pm-7pm. We offer the ability to provide a schedule a month in advance. We are looking for someone from Sept - November, with the potential for year round employment. We offer buffet style meals on a set schedule for overnight groups of 15-45 persons.
