The Role The Studio Photographer will be on-site during University photo sessions to photograph university students at the University of Saskatchewan campus. This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday and/or weekends as needed What You Will Focus On: * Opening and closing the studio * Meter photography lights and make adjustments where necessary * Set up of photoshoot props such as gowns and graduation props * Assist with the coordination of photo day at the University to ensure the sessions run efficiently * Photograph University graduates inside the studio and outdoors * Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For: * Photography experience not required, but preferred * Strong customer focus and organization skills * Ability to work independently and deal with multiple and changing priorities * Experience working with students is an asset * Experience working in customer service is an asset * Successful candidates require reliable car with the ability to carry photographic equipment * As this position involves working with students, the successful applicants must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check * Must be legally authorized to work in Canada What’s In It For You? * Paid personal days * Casual dress code * Fun and work hard play hard environment Physical Requirements & Work Environment: * Ability to lift up to 35lbs * Ability to stand, walk and bend repetitively for extended periods of time * Travel may be required within a specified region, in which case you must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle * University environment- campus photography studio We would like to thank all applicants in advance.
