Our National Tax Office team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partner to join our growing M&A and tax transaction team. The Partner will play a crucial leadership role within the organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of tax-related matters and M&A activities. Provide expert advice on federal income tax issues, including structuring, planning, and risk management. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization and its clients. Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to structure deals and transactions tax-efficiently. Provide strategic guidance on post-merger integration and restructuring to maximize tax benefits. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax planning and M&A advice. Conduct client meetings and presentations to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and understandably. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, guiding them on technical matters and professional development. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Identify and assess tax risks associated with business activities and transactions. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Advanced degree (e.g., JD, LLM, MBA, or MST) 12+ years of tax experience, with a significant focus on M&A transactions. In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal Proven track record of leading tax structuring for complex transactions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals. EisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
