Our restaurant group includes: Datsun, Riviera, El Camino and Shelby Burger. *Summary:* Giulia is looking for an experienced cook to join our Elgin location team full time. 3+ years of kitchen experience required, with pizza and pasta experience an asset. A suitable candidate will need to be available for night shifts, weekends, and holidays. You will need a strong work ethic and a positive attitude as well as the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a team environment, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food is up to standard. Starting wage is $19-21/ hour with room for growth, + weekly tip out, staff meal while you work, and employee discounts at the other restaurants in our group. Responsibilities * Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to restaurant standards * Work assigned stations during service, including pasta, pizza, garde manger and/or prep * Complete daily prep efficiently and maintain appropriate par levels * Maintain a clean, organized, and service-ready station * Practice proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures * Work with urgency and composure during busy services * Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow cooks throughout prep and service * Assist other stations and team members when needed * Maintain kitchen equipment with care * Receive, organize, and properly store ingredients and deliveries * Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and craft-focused kitchen environment Qualifications * Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a restaurant setting. * Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. * Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. * Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
