Role Description The Delivery Driver role at Elevate Logistics is a full-time, on-site position based in Halifax, NS. In this role, the driver will pick up, transport, and deliver goods to customers and distribution points, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include loading and unloading items safely, verifying delivery documentation, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and returns. The driver will inspect the vehicle regularly, report maintenance needs, and follow all traffic and safety regulations. This position also involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, resolving basic delivery issues, and supporting warehouse operations as needed. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience with forklift operation or other material-handling equipment is an asset. Background in training or mentoring team members is beneficial. Exposure to sales or client-facing roles is an advantage. Experience in food & beverage delivery or handling perishable goods is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move packages safely and work on feet for extended periods. Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in following routes and procedures. Basic knowledge of local Halifax, NS routes and traffic regulations.
