They are just as comfortable reviewing pull requests and solving technical problems as they are mentoring engineers and setting technical direction. THE OPPORTUNITY Elevation Capital is building AI-first software products that transform how organizations hire talent and manage field operations. As the AI Software Development Operations Manager, you will lead a small engineering team responsible for two AI-powered products: an AI video interview platform and a field sales platform. Reporting directly to the Product Owner, you will oversee engineering execution while remaining deeply involved in architecture, code reviews, and technical decision making. This is a player-coach role where you will help shape the engineering culture, improve delivery processes, and ensure every release is stable, secure, and scalable. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead, mentor, and grow a team of approximately five engineers across multiple products Own the complete software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, deployments, environments, secrets management, and rollback strategies Improve platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational excellence Establish engineering standards around testing, code reviews, deployment quality, and production stability Review pull requests, pair program on complex technical challenges, and contribute code when required Partner with Product leadership on roadmap planning, technical strategy, and hiring Standardize architecture and engineering practices across multiple products Drive continuous improvement in engineering velocity, quality, and scalability WHO YOU ARE 8+ years of professional software engineering experience 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams Strong full-stack engineering skills with Python, FastAPI, React, and TypeScript Deep experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code Experience leading engineering across multiple products or teams simultaneously Proven ability to improve software reliability, deployment pipelines, and engineering operations Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contribution Thrive in startup environments where ownership and execution matter TECH STACK Frontend React TypeScript Backend Python FastAPI Cloud & Infrastructure Microsoft Azure Docker GitHub Actions Infrastructure as Code CI/CD Pipelines Engineering Operations Monitoring and Alerting Incident Management Deployment Automation REQUIREMENTS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Proven experience leading software engineering teams Strong cloud infrastructure and DevOps expertise Demonstrated success building and shipping production software Excellent communication and technical leadership skills WHAT WILL SET YOU APART Experience building AI or LLM-powered applications Experience with WebRTC, real-time audio/video platforms, or voice technologies Multi-tenant SaaS experience Experience transforming internal software into commercial SaaS products COMPENSATION This position offers a competitive salary based on experience, along with benefits including health coverage and opportunities for career growth in a rapidly expanding company.
