SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced, caring, and highly dependable Housekeeper to support a matriarch who divides her time among three private residences in Montréal, Quebec; Palm Beach, Florida; and Colchester, Vermont. This is a travelling position requiring the successful candidate to accompany the principal between her residences and provide consistent household support wherever she is staying. The role combines hands-on housekeeping, laundry, provisioning, meal preparation, and cooking, along with general day-to-day support. The ideal candidate will be warm and attentive while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and respecting the principal's independence and privacy. The successful candidate must be adaptable and comfortable adjusting to the different routines and requirements of each residence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Montréal, Quebec While at the Montréal residence, the Housekeeper will be the primary household staff member responsible for day-to-day household support, including: General housekeeping and maintaining the residence to a high standard Laundry and linen care Household organization and tidying Assisting with grocery shopping Meal planning and preparation Cooking meals according to the principal's preferences Maintaining appropriate household and food supplies Providing general day-to-day assistance Palm Beach, Florida General housekeeping and organization Laundry and linen care Grocery shopping and household provisioning Meal preparation and cooking Monitoring and replenishing household supplies Preparing the residence for guests and entertaining Providing additional household support when the principal is entertaining Maintaining an organized, welcoming, and well-presented residence As the principal entertains more frequently in Palm Beach, the successful candidate should be comfortable adapting household routines and meal preparation accordingly. Assist the principal with day-to-day activities and errands as appropriate. Remain attentive to her preferences, routines, and changing needs. This position is focused on household support and is not described as a personal-care or medical-care position. CANDIDATE PROFILE Experienced in private household service, housekeeping, or a comparable position. Warm, patient, attentive, and naturally service-oriented. An experienced and confident home cook. Highly organized and attentive to detail. Proactive and able to anticipate household needs. Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep of a residence. Flexible and adaptable when moving between multiple residences. Comfortable assisting with shopping, provisioning, and household errands. Comfortable supporting occasional entertaining and guests. Discreet and respectful of privacy and confidentiality. Able to provide attentive companionship while maintaining professional boundaries. Calm, reliable, and consistent. Committed to providing discreet and invisible service. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Previous relevant housekeeping or private household experience. Strong housekeeping and laundry skills. Good cooking and meal-preparation abilities. Strong organizational and household provisioning skills. Ability and willingness to travel regularly between Canada and the United States. Ability to adapt to different residences, routines, and environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional discretion and respect for confidentiality. Legal authorization to work in Canada or the United States.
