You haven’t mastered interaction design until you’ve facilitated a stressed and hurried traveler trying to get to their flight. About the Role We're looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our Application and Web product team and help shape the next generation of service automation experiences for global travel. You'll own the design of customer-facing solutions from research through to handoff, working closely with marketing, product managers, and engineers to design user journeys across our portfolio of solutions. Your designs will be touched by hundreds of thousands of real travelers, on real hardware, in real airports within weeks of shipping. What You'll Do * Design end-to-end experiences for self-service solutions such as kiosks, self bag drop, biometric and passport control as well as range of agent support solutions and more.— wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and motion specs. * Conduct user research and usability testing, including occasional on-site observation in airport environments. * Partner with airline and airport clients to design custom solutions as needed as you translate operational requirements into intuitive passenger flows. * Build and maintain design system components in Figma alongside our engineering team. * Accommodate accessibility (WCAG, ADA) and multilingual design across all touchpoints. * Collaborate daily with business analysts, architects, and developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and faithfully implemented. * Help shape and evolve the Embross digital experience ecosystem, including the corporate website, product storytelling, customer journeys, and web-based user experiences. * Collaborate with marketing and external agencies to ensure consistency across product UX, brand systems, and digital touchpoints. What You'll Bring * 8+ years of UI/UX design experience for shipped digital products. * A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work, research, IA, interaction design, and visual polish. * Strong proficiency in Figma. * Solid grasp of accessibility principles and inclusive design. * Excellent communication skills you can present design decisions clearly to non-designers and incorporate feedback constructively. * Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team, both independently and collaboratively. * Willingness to travel * A solid grasp of the latest generation of AI tools and their role in modern UI/UX design flows Nice to Have * Experience designing for mobile platforms with shipped examples * Experience designing self-service experiences. * General familiarity with HTML/CSS enough to communicate fluently with front-end developers and understand technical constraints * Experience working within or contributing to a design system What We Offer * Competitive salary with 15% bonus potential * Extended health, vision, and wellness benefits * Employer contribution towards RRSP * Employee assistance program * Company events and on-site parking * Monday–Friday schedule * The chance to design experiences used by millions of travelers worldwide Equal Opportunity Embross is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
