About

Welcome to the 'People-part' of the global cannabis industry. The global cannabis sector is fast-moving, highly specialised, and unlike any other market. With 7+ years of dedicated recruitment experience focused exclusively on cannabis, Emerald Lane Recruitment supports businesses across 12+ global markets and 5 continents — including Canada, the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Austria, Denmark, Colombia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Jersey. We partner with cannabis businesses across the supply chain, delivering recruitment support from junior and specialist hires through to senior leadership and Executive Search across cultivation, manufacturing, commercial, operations, technology, and corporate functions. We understand that every stage of growth requires different people — and different hiring strategies. Whether you are making a key leadership hire, entering a new market, scaling a facility, or strengthening an existing team, the right person at the right time can change the trajectory of a business. Alongside retained and contingent search, we also offer our industry-unique Fractional Recruiter model — designed for companies that need a strategic people partner, flexible support, and agency-level expertise through pricing structures that better reflect the realities of this industry. We work beyond traditional recruitment, connecting our clients with proven operators, specialists, and industry leaders who understand where cannabis is today — and where it is heading globally. Building, scaling, or hiring in cannabis? Let’s talk about the people strategy behind your next phase of growth.
