About the role
Do you enjoy ensuring the smooth running of operations, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the accuracy of logistics documents? Are you organized, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment? You’ve just knocked on the right door.
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company known for the quality of its products, is looking for a logistics clerk who is meticulous, efficient, structured, and has excellent prioritization skills to join their team.
Your main responsibilities:
- Prepare the necessary documents for shipping orders.
- Verify and manage delivery notes and work orders.
- File various documents according to established procedures.
- Follow up with carriers: shipment status, proof of delivery.
- Follow up with customers: shipment statuses by phone and email.
- Open, update, and close files.
- Issue documents, notices, and instructions to carriers.
- Set up the logistics required to efficiently execute operations (rate requests, pickup planning, coordination with recipients).
- Operate a forklift if needed.
- Perform other related tasks as required by the position.

Requirements:

- Valid forklift certification.

Salary: $45,000 to $56,000 per year, based on experience Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 4: p.m. Status: Temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent
