About the role
Food and Beverage Supervisor Silvertip Resort - Canmore, Alberta
Stone Creek Resorts is a Calgary‑based company specializing in land development and the operation of premium golf destinations in Canmore, AB, and Invermere, BC. We are seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to support our Silvertip team in Canmore.
Responsibilities
The Food and Beverage Supervisor will:
- Lead and support hosts, servers, bartenders, and other front‑of‑house staff to ensure exceptional guest service.
- Anticipate guest needs and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Assist the Food and Beverage leadership team with staff scheduling, inventory, and cost control.
- Collaborate with back‑of‑house teams to ensure service staff understand the presentation and preparation of menu items and special offerings.
- Train staff on POS systems, payment handling, and cash‑out procedures.
- Provide ongoing service and hospitality training to junior team members.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and food‑handling standards.
Additional duties include:
- Resolving guest concerns in consultation with the Food and Beverage Manager or General Manager.
- Ensuring guest‑facing service areas are clean, stocked, and well maintained.
- Confirming all front‑of‑house equipment is clean and functioning properly.
- Following opening and closing procedures for all outlets.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hospitality Degree or Certificate considered an asset
- Minimum two years of food and beverage experience
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Alberta FOODSAFE Level 1 (or equivalent)
- Alberta ProServe certification (or equivalent)
