Your role During your internship, you will have the opportunity to acquire and deepen your knowledge in various areas of law, including securities law, as well as administrative, criminal and civil law.

You will be called upon to support the existing team of lawyers, all under the supervision of your internship supervisor.

More specifically, you will be required to:

• Apply specific laws, such as the Securities Act, the Financial Sector Regulation Act, the Insurers Act, the Financial Products and Services Distribution Act, and the Derivatives Act
• Conduct legislative, jurisprudential and doctrinal research
• Drafting various legal documents, including research memos and procedures
• Participate in the various stages of litigation cases, including preparations, witness interviews, representations and hearings before the Financial Markets Tribunal and the courts of general jurisdiction
