About the Role
We are currently looking to welcome a co-op student to the Semex finance team. This student will be given the opportunity to work in several areas of the finance department in order to advance their practical knowledge and finance skills.
What You Will Do:
- Accounts Payable functions
- Accounts Receivable functions
- Monthly closing responsibilities, including preparing journal entries
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Special Projects
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented
- Good communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to learn quickly
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
