Text Size Back to Job Board Custodian (Health Care Centre) Garden River First Nation General Labour POSTED: 20 hours ago Employer Garden River First Nation ES Job ID 8051 Closing Date August 16, 2026 Salary $21.12/hour Duration Full Time Job Description Garden River First Nation is looking for a Full-Time Custodian to provide daily clinical cleaning of the Garden River Wellness Centre and routine cleaning of the Dan Pine Healing Lodge, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for staff and visitors. What You Will Do Minimum six (6) months of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is required Perform daily clinical cleaning of the Garden River Wellness Centre and routine cleaning of the Dan Pine Healing Lodge Clean restrooms Maintain an ongoing inventory of cleaning supplies and paper products, and submit the list quarterly to the Program Supervisor for approval and ordering Report any furnishings, materials, or equipment requiring repair or replacement to the Supervisor Maintain health and safety procedures in accordance with prescribed policies Keep up to date on cleaning products and assist with ordering supplies Perform other related duties as required and assigned Required Skills Minimum six (6) months of experience performing cleaning duties and using cleaning materials, equipment, and techniques is required Ability to work weekends and/or after hours on occasion Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the duration of the shift Ability to bend, stretch, lift, pull, carry, and climb stairs Clear CPIC records check as a condition of employment Knowledge, understanding, and experience of First Nation culture, values, and traditions Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle How To Apply Interested applicants, please forward a letter of introduction and resume to [email protected] by August 16, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
