Depending on licensing, experience and supervision requirements, work may include: Gas furnace installation and replacement Gas-fired water heater installation and replacement Tankless water heater installation Gas line installation and modification Gas appliance connections Venting and combustion air installations Furnace maintenance and troubleshooting Gas pressure testing Equipment start-up and commissioning Assisting with air-conditioning and heat pump installations Assisting with ductwork and sheet metal modifications Completing digital job documentation Maintaining accurate customer and equipment records Maintaining clean and professional jobsites Communicating professionally with customers Learning proper equipment operation and customer handoffs Responsibilities will increase as the employee develops their skills, experience and licensing. This position is designed to provide room for advancement. A G3 Gas Technician joining Bouillon HVAC will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working with furnaces, water heaters, gas piping, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems and other residential HVAC equipment. Assets G2 or G1 Gas Technician certificate Previous HVAC, plumbing or construction experience Furnace or water-heater installation experience Sheet metal or ductwork experience Air-conditioning or heat pump experience 313D or 313A refrigeration licence ODP certification WHMIS and other relevant safety training Familiarity with Jobber or similar field-service/CRM software Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling, job documentation, photos, notes and customer information Candidates do not need experience in every area listed above.
