The Bell Creek Complex located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, Ontario, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to surface via a modern one thousand eighty metre deep shaft capable of forty-eight hundred tonnes per day. For more information, please visit our website. About The Opportunity We are looking to hire a Senior Project Supervisor to join our Bell Creek Operations team in Timmins, ON., on a full-time basis. The schedule for this position is a 4-3 rotation, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. Compensation: This position offers a base salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy. The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible. Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position. The Senior Project Supervisor will play a key role in advancing underground mining construction projects and implementing changes to ensure safety, production and cost targets are met. The day-to-day coordination of multiple contractor activities will be the primary responsibility, while ensuring underground site inspections of work headings are carried out for compliance to plan. You will be responsible for the health and safety of all personnel and contractors in your charge and ensure that all safety incidents are thoroughly investigated, and recommendations are implemented promptly and without prejudice. You are expected to demonstrate with consistency all LSG core values in Health and Safety and follow the Environment Code of Conduct of Lake Shore Gold, as well as any other duties as assigned.
