What You’ll Do As a Server/Bartender at St. Louis Bar & Grill, you affect our guests’ view of our restaurant and our brand every time you interact with them. In order to create regulars, consistency in quality, presentation and service is essential! It is our goal to ensure that guests receive the same high level of hospitality and satisfaction whether it is their first or fifth visit. Conversation and presentation are essential! It is our goal to ensure our guests have their expectations exceeded each and every time they walk through our door! In this role you will have considerable responsibility in delivering extraordinary hospitality to our guests, ensuring that you are adhering to the “smart alcohol service” policies and food safety guidelines. In This Role You Will Always deliver more than our guest expects through extraordinary hospitality. Establish a fantastic guest connection with each and every guest. Correctly enter guest orders into the POS system. Understand and being able to communicate all aspects of the menu. Ensure the St. Louis standard operating procedures are being executed correctly. Complete all duties listed on the servers cleaning checklist. Work as a team member to fellow servers and other roles throughout the restaurant. Maintain a clean and sanitized service area at all times. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Create a Guest First! energetic atmosphere – lights, blinds, music, TV’s, cleanliness. Answer phones within 2 – 3 rings and handle inquiries appropriately. Follow proper take-out etiquette. Promptly prepare drinks for team member orders and guests. Prepare the bar for service, including all mixes, garnishes, glassware, supplies. Ensure all products behind the bar are being kept out of the danger zone and held in proper containers. Maintain proper inventory. Record daily beer counts. Change kegs. Monitor guest behaviour. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Required Skills What You Bring: Enthusiasm for providing hospitality and hosting people, and a fantastic personality. A dynamic personality and positive attitude. An up-to-date Smart Serve. 1+ years of experience providing exceptional hospitality. You are at least 18 years of age.
