Business Development Lead Enalees Canada Location: Canada (Remote with national travel) Industry: Veterinary Diagnostics / Animal Health About Enalees Enalees is a biotechnology company based in the Paris region, France that develops manufacturers and markets rapid molecular diagnostic test solutions using an ISO thermal amplification method that can be used to detect pathogens. The company has developed more than 60 diagnostic tests to identify over 25 infectious diseases in ruminants, equine, cats, and dogs. We have expanded into Canada, and are building a small, high-performing team dedicated to bringing this innovative diagnostic platform to veterinary practices across the country. Enalees is transforming veterinary medicine with these rapid molecular diagnostics at the point of care. Our technology enables veterinary teams to diagnose infectious diseases in under 30 minutes, empowering clinicians to make faster treatment decisions and improve outcomes for livestock, horses and companion animals. Enalees Canada is seeking a driven and strategic and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive market expansion and build long-term growth across Canada. You will lead business development strategy, establish strategic partnerships, identify new market opportunities, and build the national commercial ecosystem supporting adoption of our diagnostic platform. This is a high-autonomy role with full national responsibility. The Role The Business Development Lead is responsible for driving strategic growth and market development for Enalees across Canada. This individual will define and execute the national business development strategy, build partnerships with veterinary groups, distributors, and industry stakeholders, and position Enalees as a leading diagnostic solution within the Canadian veterinary ecosystem. This role will combine hands-on execution with the development of a scalable commercial infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Strategy Define and execute the national business development strategy for Enalees Canada Identify and develop new market opportunities across livestock, equine and companion animal segments Build and manage strategic partnership with veterinary groups, distributors and industry networks · Expand national footprint through structured partnership and channel strategies · Support market entry planning for new regions, segments, and product lines Partnership & Ecosystem Development Establish and grow relationships with key opinion leaders, veterinary associations, and corporate veterinary groups Structure and negotiate partnership agreements with distributors and strategic accounts Build long-term collaboration models that drive adoption and recurring usage Represent Enalees in industry collaborations and strategic initiatives Market Expansion & Product Launch Support launch strategies for new diagnostic assays and product lines Identify unmet market needs and feed insights into product and commercial strategy Collaborate with global teams to align Canadian growth strategy with broader company objectives Develop value propositions tailored to different market segments Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Communicate the clinical and economic value of Enalees diagnostics to key stakeholders Lead high-level discussions and presentations with veterinary groups and decision-makers Represent Enalees at conferences, trade shows, and industry events Support key account development where strategic relationships are required Market Intelligence & Strategy Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities Provide strategic insights to inform commercial and product decisions Contribute to pricing strategy, positioning, and go-to-market approach Qualifications Experience 5+ years experience in animal health, veterinary diagnostics, or healthcare business development Proven track record of building partnerships and expanding market presence Experience working with veterinary clinics, veterinary professionals, corporate veterinary groups, and distributors Skills · Strong strategic and commercial thinking · Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills · Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies · Strong communication and presentation capabilities · Ability to work independently in a national role Personal Attributes We are looking for someone who reflects the culture we are building: Solution oriented High ownership and accountability Collaborative mindset (“We instead of I”) Growth oriented and entrepreneurial Why Join Enalees Canada?
