You will play a key role in overseeing the quality of manufacturing for critical equipment (turbines and generators) supplied by major manufacturers. You will be involved in every stage of the process, including inspection, quality monitoring, coordination, and client relations. In the short term, you will manage your own assignments and gradually evolve toward: Full project management responsibilities Direct client relationship management Technical leadership and multidisciplinary coordination Key Responsibilities Participate in manufacturing surveillance activities (shop inspections, testing, supplier oversight) Support project management activities, including scheduling, deliverables tracking, and coordination Conduct quality inspections and audits Monitor non-conformances and contribute to corrective action plans Interact directly with manufacturers and represent the client’s interests Prepare clear, well-structured technical reports What makes you unique Degree in a relevant field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance or the fabrication of heavy mechanical equipment; Experience with or exposure to turbines, generators, or electromechanical equipment is considered a strong asset; Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including welding, machining, non-destructive testing (NDT), and heat treatment; Ability to grow into a project management and client-facing role; Bilingualism (French and English); Willingness to travel within Quebec, across Canada, and occasionally internationally; Experience working for an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or a large manufacturing organization; Field experience, including inspections, construction sites, or commissioning activities; Strong analytical skills and technical credibility. The salary range for this position is $66,182 - $86,864 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role. Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
