Your main responsibilities As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team contributing to a variety of building and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or early-career engineer looking to expand their technical knowledge and gain hands-on experience in consulting engineering. • Assist with the design of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, municipal, and industrial projects; • Support the preparation of electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, and contract documents; • Contribute to the design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and emergency power systems; • Develop design deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software; • Participate in field investigations, site visits, and condition assessments; • Coordinate project requirements with mechanical, structural, civil, and environmental disciplines; • Assist with reviewing drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions; • Support construction administration activities, including site reviews and contractor inquiries; • Contribute to technical reports, studies, feasibility assessments, and project documentation; • Promote Englobe's health and safety culture while maintaining a commitment to quality and client service. What makes you unique Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university; Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or eligible for registration with a Canadian engineering association; 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience; Interest in building electrical systems, municipal infrastructure, or industrial facilities; Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit; experience with AGi32, SKM PowerTools, or similar software is considered an asset; Understanding of Canadian electrical codes, standards, and engineering principles; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
