Job details
Company Description Enigma Key Inc develops secure communications solutions for organizations that require long-term confidentiality, including governments, defence, diplomatic, critical infrastructure, legal, and financial institutions. The company’s Enigma platform is engineered for a post-quantum world in which today’s encrypted traffic may be decrypted in the future. It integrates messaging, voice and video calls, encrypted file sharing, and a secure vault into a single, highly protected environment. Core capabilities include post-quantum cryptography aligned with emerging NIST standards, on-device file classification, sender-controlled access, tamper-evident audit records, and sovereign deployment with customer-controlled keys. EnigmaKey’s solutions run across desktop and mobile and are designed for environments where security is central to how people work. Role Description The Senior Project Manager, Software Development & Cybersecurity is a full-time, on-site role based in Langley, BC. This role leads end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and security projects across the Enigma platform, coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, product, security, and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining scope and milestones, managing project timelines and resources, tracking risks and dependencies, and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and compliance requirements. The Senior Project Manager collaborates with stakeholders to refine requirements, prioritize features, and drive continuous improvement in project management practices and development workflows. The role also involves reporting on project status, facilitating technical and non-technical communication, and supporting adoption of secure development and deployment practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Software Project Management and general Project Management skills, with proven experience leading complex, multi-team initiatives. Candidates should possess hands-on understanding of Software Development processes and life cycles, including agile methodologies and secure development practices. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for risk assessment, data-driven decision-making, and performance tracking. Candidates should possess Requirements Analysis skills to translate stakeholder needs into clear, testable specifications and project plans. Relevant experience in cybersecurity, secure communications, or highly regulated environments (e.g., government, defense, financial services) is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CISSP, CISM) are an asset. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicate clearly, and drive alignment across diverse teams. Experience managing on-premise or sovereign deployments and familiarity with post-quantum or advanced cryptographic concepts is an advantage.
