Information Technology Project Manager

Position Tittle: IT Project Manager Canada Remote need to travel on need basis. We are seeking a senior Project Manager with experience leading projects focused on SAP Master Data as well as Infrastructure deployments. Required Skills and Qualifications · Experience: Minimum 10+ years in IT project management with a focus on infrastructure and software implementations. · Project Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. · Vendor Management: Strong experience managing third-party software vendors and contracts. · Risk Management: Expertise in identifying and mitigating project risks. · Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage, communicate, and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders. · Technical Acumen: Understanding software development, system integrations, and IT infrastructure. · Certifications (Preferred): PMP, CSM, or equivalent. The Project Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Manage IT Projects within the Applications, Digitalization, and Infrastructure portfolios · Work within IT Project Management Office (PMO) guidelines and responsibility for resourcing, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects using the IT Project Methodology. · Manage and escalate project issues in an effective and timely manner. · Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule and escalate as needed. · Manage external resource relationships, strategic partners, and project team members during the life cycle of the project. · Travel periodically to client locations (in Canada) as dictated by project requirements. · Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and frameworks.

The Project Manager will manage IT projects within the Applications, Digitalization, and Infrastructure portfolios, ensuring adherence to PMO guidelines. Responsibilities include managing project issues, monitoring metrics, and maintaining relationships with external resources and partners.

Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, focusing on infrastructure and software implementations. Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, along with strong vendor and risk management skills, is required.
