Job Title - Payments Business Analyst (BA) Type - Fulltime Location - Mississauga , ON Responsibilities Business and functional requirement gathering for small medium complex scope; compiling needs from multiple stakeholders into a single set of prioritized requirements. Identify business processes, document their workflow in process maps which reflect the relationship between the operating model and the technology platforms, and identify roles within these processes. Work with stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges, assist in aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders. Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements. Engages with engineering team to design technical solutions that meet business requirements. Oversee the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Assists in testing and participates in test phases prior to UAT. Updates technical specs based on testing, prioritized defects or post-release lessons learned Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Create and maintain reports to support business decision-making and provide actionable recommendations. Supports communication for application/system deployment Works to ensure application availability and SLAs for operational readiness Utilize or develop artifacts such as business requirements documentation, JIRA, and Confluence to facilitate requirements alignment sessions, develop test scripts, and document requirements for SOX auditing. Evaluate current business processes, workflows, and roadmaps to have a comprehensive understanding of current state and ideal future state. Lead cross functional collaboration and drives to alignment with business partners within constraints of the project or work. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Finance Economics Statistics or equivalent Required Skills Minimum 5 years of Techno functional or System analysis experience in Financial Industry Domain Ability to write basic SQL queries Good with MS office suite of applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills specifically ability to clearly articulate thoughts is must Proactive problem solver go getter committed individual Preferred Skills Exposure to working in a global setup Experience with Payments applications and processes would be advantageous Experience with Agile methodology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required Skills Essential Skills Payment Application Agile Basic SQL Good with MS office Excellent in written and verbal communication Skills Mandatory Skills Payments (SWIFT, ISO20022, Real-Time, Instant, Request to Pay, Domestic, Cross-Border, High Value, Low Value and Mass Payments) We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or an equivalent field is required, along with at least five years of techno-functional or systems analysis experience in the financial industry. Candidates should have basic SQL skills, strong Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication, and payment domain knowledge; Agile and global experience are advantageous.
