Job summary
We are seeking a Data Masking Specialist with strong database and SQL expertise to support enterprise data masking and data privacy initiatives. The candidate will work with large datasets, identify sensitive and PII data, configure masking rules, execute masking jobs, and troubleshoot complex data masking issues while ensuring data integrity. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, understand data relationships and referential integrity, and be comfortable collaborating with DBAs, application teams, and technical stakeholders. Experience with a specific masking tool is not mandatory as training will be provided. Top 3 Required Skills: 1. Strong SQL and database experience with hands-on work on large datasets. 2. Ability to identify sensitive/PII information and understand data relationships, referential integrity, and deterministic masking. 3. Hands-on experience configuring, executing, and troubleshooting data masking rules and jobs. Top 3 Preferred Skills: 1. Experience with data masking or data anonymization solutions. 2. Scripting and automation experience (Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.). 3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with understanding of various data formats. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
