JOB TASKS: * Loads and unloads trucks at Emmerson Packaging or at the Emmerson Warehouse, using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand. * Moves material between departments, and between Emmerson Packaging and the Emmerson Warehouses * Maintains stock areas at Emmerson Packaging or at the Emmerson Warehouse * Check packing slips and labels for accuracy. * Retrieves and prepares material according to the production schedules and the shop floor papers. * Receives and maintains bills of lading and packing slips for use in reports. * Performs minor preventive maintenance on forklifts and pallet jacks. * Housekeeping responsibilities in the department’s areas of responsibility. * Assist with inventory counts when required. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 40 lbs and climbing. Experience in a manufacturing environment and possession of a forklift license or dangerous goods certification are considered assets.
