Overview Languages English or French Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 2 years to less than 3 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Professionalism in customer service Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Additional information Personal suitability Excellent oral communication Flexibility Organized Reliability Team player Hardworking Patience Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Financial benefits Life insurance Other Benefits Other benefits
