We're currently looking for an experienced Residential Grading & Loaming Operator to join our Calgary team. This position focuses on fine grading and loaming for new home construction during the construction season and transitions into snow removal operations throughout the winter. What You'll Do As a key member of our field operations team, you will: Operate Bobcat 463 and S70 mini skid steers for residential grading and loaming Perform fine grading and final lot preparation for new home construction Work safely and efficiently in tight spaces between homes and other structures Operate equipment with foot controls in a variety of site conditions Maintain production while meeting quality and grading specifications Follow all company safety procedures and site requirements Work collaboratively with supervisors, builders, and fellow crew members Maintain equipment and report any operational concerns Support winter snow removal operations during the off-season Required Qualifications What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of skid steer operating experience in residential construction Proven experience with residential grading and loaming MUST have experience operating equipment with foot controls Ability to work confidently in tight-access residential environments Strong understanding of site safety practices and job sequencing Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently when required Preferred Assets Experience operating full-size skid steers Experience marking and checking grades Snow removal equipment experience Experience working on high-volume residential construction projects Compensation & Schedule $35-$40 per hour, based on experience Full-time, year-round employment Guaranteed winter salary with transition into snow removal operations Consistent work throughout the construction season What We Offer Steady, reliable work with a growing company Professional, well-organized crews and management team Comprehensive training and development opportunities Health benefits and wellness program Opportunities for advancement and long-term career growth A safety-focused culture that values quality workmanship and teamwork Apply today and become part of the ECC team.

What you’ll do

As a key member of the field operations team, you will operate mini skid steers for residential grading and loaming, ensuring quality and safety. You will also support winter snow removal operations during the off-season.

Requirements

The position requires a minimum of 1 year of skid steer operating experience in residential construction and proven experience with grading and loaming. Candidates must have experience operating equipment with foot controls and a strong understanding of site safety practices.
