As an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you’ll build foundational accounting skills while supporting accurate, timely, and efficient AP processes. You’ll assist with the full accounts payable cycle—including invoice processing, expense reports, payments, and vendor communication—while working closely with the Finance Manager and cross-functional teams. Your work will help maintain financial accuracy and support a culture of trust and continuous improvement. This is a fully remote position based in Canada. Position Summary: Accurately and efficiently process vendor invoices and employee expense claims to ensure timely and reliable payments. Provide organized transactional accounting support for day‑to‑day receipts and disbursements while assisting with basic financial analysis and reporting as needed. Prepare vendor invoices for accurate and timely payment. Match purchase orders to invoices, code to proper expense accounts. Ensure invoices are properly approved for payment. Process cheque runs weekly and as required. Act as first point of contact for administration of expense program, assist in compliance initiatives Process employee expense reports. Ensure expenses are approved and coded to proper accounts. Process weekly electronic funds transfer. Ensure accurate syncing of transactions between expense systems and accounting program. Download electronic invoices, summarize, and code data in Excel. Obtain approvals and process payments. Flag payment link requests and forward to the Finance Manager for review; file supporting documentation in designated folders. Provide the Finance Manager with a weekly list of payables due for the payment run. Distribute weekly missing receipts and reconciliation notices to department heads; maintain organized filing for AP/AR documents and handle miscellaneous administrative tasks. Prepare weekly cheque run. Distribute cheques and EFT remittance advices to vendors and territory personnel. Audit expenses for accuracy of GST/HST, expense claims, calculations, and signatures. Answer and make inquiries about employees and suppliers via telephone and email. Prepare and maintain various Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. Provide back-up and assistance with other Finance functions as required. Other functions/special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of two years of experience in Accounts Payable or related position. Post-secondary education in accounting or business is an asset. Basic Accounting knowledge. Superior knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures and controls. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in data entry. This position will accept applications until September 18, 2026
