Assistant EGD (Slots) Director Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant EGD (Slots) Director to support the leadership and day-to-day management of Electronic Gaming Device (EGD) operations. Working closely with the EGD Director, the Assistant Director will oversee gaming floor operations, slot machine performance, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and the ongoing optimization of the EGD product mix. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and operational expertise, with the ability to interpret gaming performance data and develop strategies designed to increase coin-in, improve win per unit, maximize revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience. What We Offer Competitive base salary of $90,000–$105,000 plus bonus, based on experience Comprehensive compensation and benefits package Free meals Free parking Free access to the company gym Career advancement opportunities Company-wide events Volunteer opportunities Key Responsibilities EGD / Slot Operations Oversee the daily operation and performance of all EGD and slot machines, ensuring equipment is fully operational, properly maintained, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, coach, and manage EGD attendants, technicians, supervisors, and managers. Develop schedules, delegate responsibilities, establish performance expectations, and provide ongoing training and development. Gaming Floor Management Monitor and manage gaming floor operations to ensure an efficient, professional, and customer-focused environment. Address operational issues and resolve customer concerns or gaming-related disputes promptly. Revenue & Performance Optimization Analyze slot performance metrics, including coin-in, hold percentage, revenue, win per unit, and manufacturer market share, to identify opportunities to improve performance and maximize revenue. Floor Layout & Product Mix Support the EGD Director in determining the optimal placement, configuration, and mix of gaming machines. Evaluate game performance and customer preferences to ensure the floor offers an effective balance of games, denominations, and betting options. Financial Management Assist with the preparation and management of departmental revenue and expense budgets. Develop strategies to increase revenue while effectively managing operating and labour costs. Regulatory Compliance Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable gaming regulations and compliance requirements. Ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed and work with regulatory agencies as required. Customer Experience Promote a high standard of customer service throughout the EGD department. Foster a positive and welcoming gaming environment and ensure customer concerns are handled professionally and efficiently. Projects & Gaming Acquisitions Work with the EGD Director on major projects, including new machine and game acquisitions, equipment replacements, upgrades, floor redesigns, and changes to the overall EGD product mix. Preventative Maintenance Ensure preventative maintenance programs are properly scheduled and executed. Coordinate with the Head Technician to minimize equipment downtime and ensure timely repairs, replacements, and maintenance. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of EGD/slot management experience within a casino or gaming facility operating at least 300 machines Strong understanding of slot machine operations, performance analysis, and gaming floor optimization Experience analyzing key gaming metrics, including coin-in, hold percentage, revenue, and machine performance Strong knowledge of casino operations, gaming regulations, compliance, and fraud prevention Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing operational teams Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills High degree of professionalism, maturity, and discretion when handling confidential information Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain composed in a fast-paced gaming environment Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a strong asset Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required
