About the role The Aquatics and Recreation Lead offers an exceptional opportunity to play a key leadership role in both aquatic operations and overall facility support. This position is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring safety standards, delivering programs, and maintaining positive relationships with participants and staff. This role is to recruit for an existing vacancy. The position will be on an 5/2/4/3 (9.5 – hour day) roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario. We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $50,000 to $65,000 CAD. Key result areas in this role include: Supervise and evaluate Lifeguard and Instructor staff Oversee swimming lessons, including reviewing worksheets and report cards, and submitting required documentation to the Lifesaving Society Facilitate staff training sessions with aquatic teams and host regular pool meetings regarding safety, swimming lessons, lifeguard fitness, policy updates Review, complete and update monthly pool maintenance reports/records (cleaning charts, calendars, maintenance tracking) Perfom pool safety checks and report any issues/hazards to the Recreation Centre Supervisor Supervise swimmers during a variety of pool related activities Teach water safety lessons, Lifesaving Society lessons and other programming, as required, promoting aquatics to the public, local schools, etc. Instruct advanced courses (Bronze, NLS, First Aid, etc) Educate both staff and patrons on safe aquatic practices About you As the Aquatics Lead, you must bring a strong blend of aquatic expertise, leadership skills, and customer service experience. It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate: Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Certification Current Standard First aid Certification Current Swim Instructor Certification Minimum 3 years’ experience in an aquatic environment Pervious leadership or supervisory experience Strong communication, customer serves, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain confidentiality Closing date: September 23, 2026 At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA. Requirements

Candidates must hold current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard, Standard First Aid, and Swim Instructor certifications. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an aquatic environment and previous leadership or supervisory experience are required.
