Job summary
The Job Responsibilities are as follows: 🔍 What You’ll Do: * Responsible for assisting cooks, sous chef, and chef in providing high quality food to residents and for ensuring that all dishes are clean according to ware washing procedures. * Ensuring that the dining area tables and dining room is kept clean at all times. * Ensuring that dish machine temperatures are recorded, and that the water is tested to ensure the concentration of cleaning solution is correct. * Assisting with all catering functions. * Liaising with immediate supervisor, to inform, consult, and problem-solve regarding any serious problems/concerns encountered in providing service. * Ensuring dish machine temperatures are checked and recorded on established forms. * Ensuring the food services area is kept clean according to Public Health standards. * Ensuring the surrounding area is kept clean and maintained according to procedures. * Ensuring all required information is exchanged between staff members during shift exchange. ✅ What You Bring: . * Working in fast pace environment with tight deadlines * Lifting up to a minimum of 25 pounds. * Food Safe Handler’s certificate from a recognized institution. * First Aid CPR Level C Certificate is required * Police Check with Vulnerable sector is mandate. 💙 Why Join Excel Society? * Supportive and inclusive work culture * Ongoing training and professional development * Meaningful work that makes a daily difference * Opportunities to grow your career in a respected, community-focused organization
