PARTS MANAGER Permanent Position – Full-Time Sainte-Julie Branch You know the parts business, you know how to bring a team together, and you enjoy driving operations forward just as much as developing the people around you? At Excellence Peterbilt, we’re looking for a Parts Manager who can lead the department with strong leadership, attention to detail, and solid business sense. In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your operations, engage your team, and directly contribute to the performance of your branch, while benefiting from the support of our eight-branch network. Your Role Reporting to the Vice President of Parts, you’ll be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing all activities of the Sainte-Julie Parts Department. Your goal: drive the performance of your department through an engaged team, efficient operations, well-managed inventory, and a customer experience that meets our high standards. More Specifically, You’ll Be Responsible For: Driving department performance by developing action plans, monitoring results, and implementing the necessary measures to achieve Excellence Peterbilt’s objectives and PACCAR Parts standards Ensuring effective inventory management, with a focus on inventory accuracy, integrity, and overall performance Planning and coordinating department operations across three shifts, including scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage, and supporting the team during peak periods Leading and developing your team by participating in recruitment and onboarding, managing performance, and supporting employee development Ensuring a high-quality customer experience by supporting the team in resolving more complex situations and contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes Collaborating with other departments and managers to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies, processes, and standards What We’re Looking For Minimum 4 years of management experience, ideally in a parts department, dealership, or similar environment Experience in the heavy-duty truck, parts, or heavy equipment industry is a strong asset Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in managing, coaching, and developing a team Solid business acumen, with the ability to understand financial results, monitor performance indicators, and identify variances Excellent communication, problem-solving, and priority management skills, with a strong focus on the customer experience Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Don’t come directly from the heavy-duty truck industry, but have solid experience managing a parts department in the automotive, heavy equipment, or a similar industry?
