Executive Aviation is looking for a Ground Operations Trainer to lead the training program for our Hamilton Below the Wing team. Specifically, we are looking for someone to train employees on air carrier and Executive Aviation procedures at our YHM base. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a strong knowledge of best practices and the ability to facilitate in class, on-line, and on the job classes, and will also help support the operation as a Ramp Coordinator. This will be a full-time leadership role although shifts on the ramp for coverage will be required. The Trainer position will report to the Operations Manager. What do we offer? Responsibilities Leading and developing the local training program Maintaining documentation and records including air carrier trainer matrixes Scheduling and facilitating course material to meet initial and recurrent requirements Represent EA in carrier train the trainer programs Providing hands on job shadowing instruction Providing instruction and coaching employees on best practices Providing equipment demonstration and instruction Promoting safe work practices Qualifications Training experience Demonstrated ability to lead by example by creating a positive learning and working environment Must have RAIC, AVOP, and a driver’s license and a clean driver abstract Ability to travel, with reimbursement Ability to work all shifts (nights, weekends etc.) Demonstrated reliability and punctuality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexible and patient characteristics

Requirements

Candidates must have training experience and hold a RAIC, AVOP, and a valid driver's license with a clean abstract. Ability to work all shifts, including nights and weekends, and travel as required is essential.
