We're seeking experienced Journeyman Cabinetmakers who take pride in producing exceptional custom architectural millwork and enjoy working in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment. Responsibilities As a Journeyman Cabinetmaker, you will: Manufacture high-quality custom architectural millwork Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and specifications Prepare layouts and cutting lists Calculate material requirements Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently Ensure projects meet quality, productivity and deadline expectations Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges Mentor apprentice cabinetmakers Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a safe, organized workspace Qualifications Journeyman Cabinetmaker Certificate or equivalent experience 5–10+ years of cabinetmaking experience Strong experience manufacturing custom architectural millwork Excellent blueprint and shop drawing interpretation Experience with commercial millwork manufacturing Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials and hardware Ability to work independently while supporting the wider team Commitment to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement Why Join Us? What you’ll do
Manufacture high-quality custom architectural millwork by interpreting shop drawings and operating woodworking machinery. The role also involves mentoring apprentices and contributing to Lean Manufacturing initiatives to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
Requires a Journeyman Cabinetmaker Certificate or equivalent experience with 5 to 10+ years in custom architectural millwork. Candidates must have strong knowledge of woodworking materials, hardware, and the ability to work independently in a commercial manufacturing setting.
