We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Lead to join a landmark $1B+ Wastewater Treatment Expansion Program in Vancouver. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the scheduling function on one of Canada's major capital infrastructure projects. Position Summary The Scheduling Lead will be responsible for developing and managing the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) while providing strategic scheduling leadership across the entire program. Working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders, you will ensure consistent scheduling standards, governance, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling Leadership Lead and mentor a team of project schedulers. Establish scheduling governance, standards, and best practices. Ensure compliance with the client's Project Controls Framework. Act as the primary scheduling subject matter expert for the program. Facilitate planning workshops and baseline schedule development. Program Scheduling Develop, maintain, and manage the Program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Establish and maintain the Program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Integrate schedules across multiple projects and delivery teams. Monitor schedule performance and critical path activities. Perform schedule forecasting and progress analysis. Schedule Analysis & Controls Review contractor schedules for logic, sequencing, critical path, and contractual compliance. Conduct schedule quality reviews and health assessments. Evaluate schedule impacts resulting from scope changes, delays, and disruptions. Support schedule recovery planning and Extension of Time (EOT) evaluations. Risk, Claims & Reporting Perform schedule risk analysis and forecasting. Conduct forensic schedule analysis and Time Impact Analysis (TIA). Support claims avoidance and dispute resolution. Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and schedule performance updates. Collaborate with project controls, engineering, procurement, and construction teams. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline. 10+ years of scheduling experience on major infrastructure projects. Minimum 5 years in a scheduling leadership role. Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6. Advanced experience with Acumen Fuse. Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), schedule risk analysis, and integrated project controls. Experience on capital projects valued at $200M+. Preferred Experience in water, wastewater, or public infrastructure projects. P.Eng. designation. PSP (AACE), PMI-SP, or PMP certification. Experience with claims and schedule delay analysis.
