Your work environment at EXP We are looking for an Intermediate Asphalt Laboratory Technician for our Ottawa, ON office. What a day at EXP has in store for you * Carrying out Marshall and Superpave tests within our Asphalt Laboratory * Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition and calibration * Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely * Operating computerized, mechanical, and digital testing equipment What your experience looks like * Minimum 5 years experience in an Asphalt testing Laboratory * Possess a current CCIL Certification for HMA Marshall and Superpave is required * Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates * Experience with Marshall and Superpave Mix Designs is an asset * Strong focus on Health and Safety * Ability to work overtime in peak periods * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills This job posting is for an existing position vacancy within our organization. The salary range for this role is between $65K to $85K. The technician will be responsible for conducting Marshall and Superpave tests within the Asphalt Laboratory and ensuring all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. This role also involves routine interaction with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers while operating various testing equipment.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Asphalt testing Laboratory and possess current CCIL Certifications for both HMA Marshall/Superpave and Aggregates. A strong focus on Health and Safety and the ability to work overtime during peak periods are also required.
