Job summary

Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 9+ Month Contract (Renewable) Bilingualism: French and English Key Responsibilities : Workday Payroll experience Canadian payroll experience in a high-volume, complex payroll environment. Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, is required to support employees and stakeholders across Canada and US. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services. Managing payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory remittances Performing year-end reporting, and issue resolution while ensuring regulatory compliance, data integrity Working closely with employees, HR, Finance, Treasury, and government agencies Supporting audit readiness and continuous process improvement Experience processing end-to-end payroll and ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislation. Experience processing year-end payroll activities, including the preparation and validation of T4, RL-1, and other statutory income statements. Experience supporting internal and external payroll audits Experience working within a Shared Services environment Experience using case management and employee support tools such as ServiceNow and Workday Help. Canadian Payroll Association certification (PCP or equivalent) is considered an asset.
