Job summary

Banking UAT Lead / Manager Contract Term: 6 months, renewable Work Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid (2-3 days / week on site) We are seeking experienced UAT Lead or Manager to lead and manage User Acceptance Testing activities across complex banking initiatives. The successful candidate will develop the UAT strategy, coordinate business testing, manage stakeholders and testers, and ensure solutions meet business requirements prior to production deployment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end UAT planning, coordination, execution, and governance. Develop UAT strategies, test plans, schedules, entry and exit criteria, and status reporting. Manage business testers and coordinate activities across business, technology, project, and vendor teams. Ensure test scenarios and cases provide appropriate coverage of business requirements and end-to-end banking processes. Lead defect triage, issue escalation, risk management, and resolution tracking. Monitor testing progress and provide clear updates on quality, risks, and production readiness. Support release readiness, business sign-off, go-live, and post-implementation validation. Required Qualifications 10+ years of Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing experience within large enterprise environments. 5+ years of experience leading and managing UAT activities, teams, or workstreams on complex programs. Must have managerial level experience Experience leading and managing UAT within one or more of Canada’s Top 5 banks Strong banking domain knowledge and understanding of end-to-end banking processes. Experience developing UAT strategies, plans, governance, and reporting. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and issue-resolution skills. Experience with testing and defect-management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center.
