Hiring: Data & Reporting Analyst (Power BI) Location: Etobicoke 2- 3 days per week onsite Duration: 12-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension) Rate: $46–48/hour Incorporated Start Date: ASAP Our client in the transportation industry is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to support compliance, continuous improvement, and operational reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming raw data into meaningful insights and visually compelling reports. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and metrics that support informed decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Collect, analyze, and transform data from Excel files and other data sources. Create charts, graphs, scorecards, KPIs, and metrics to support business reporting. Identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis. Assist in the creation and maintenance of business process maps. Coordinate and participate in Business Process Mapping (BPM) initiatives. Support engineering and operational improvement projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions. Provide general reporting and analytical support as required. Required Qualifications Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI (mandatory). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with Excel and large datasets. Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful visual reporting solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable working independently and within a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles in a manufacturing or service environment. Experience with process improvement and business process mapping. Background in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Trucking, Manufacturing, or Engineering environments.
