Microsoft Platform Architect - Fabric/Azure Contract Term: 12 months, renewable Work location: Remote Work in Canada Canada Government Clearance required: Reliability Skills requirements: -10+ years cloud platform architecture on Microsoft Azure. -Microsoft Fabric - OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Power BI and Purview - end-to-end platform design. -GC Cloud One / Government of Canada cloud landing zone patterns and departmental tenancy. -Azure networking: VNets, private endpoints, ExpressRoute, DNS, firewall and hybrid connectivity. -IAM and security: Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, encryption and Protected B controls under ITSG-33. -Environment design and promotion across Dev / SIT / UAT / PROD; Databricks integration. -Government of Canada federal delivery; Protected B, ITSG-33, ATO processes. Nice to have skills: -Profisee deployment integrated with Fabric. -Terraform / Bicep infrastructure as code. -Azure landing zone and Well -Architected Framework reviews.

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of Microsoft Azure cloud platform architecture experience and expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Government of Canada cloud patterns, Azure networking, identity and security, and environment promotion. Federal delivery experience with Protected B, ITSG-33, and ATO processes is required; Profisee, Terraform or Bicep, and Azure landing zone or Well-Architected Framework reviews are nice to have.
