Job summary
SAP SOX Consultant Contract Duration: 4 months, renewable Work Location: Newfoundland & Labrador Work Model: Hybrid 2 weeks on site per month. Travel expenses will be paid for non-local candidates. We are seeking a contractor to support a client preparing for SOX certification by assessing, documenting, testing, and remediating control activities within an SAP environment. The consultant will act as key liaison and work closely with management, and auditors to achieve audit readiness. The role requires extensive experience in SAP-based SOX compliance programs, including control design assessment, testing of key controls, Information Produced by Entity (IPE) validation, remediation planning, and auditor liaison activities Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience supporting SOX compliance programs in SAP environments. Demonstrated experience with: SOX 404 compliance Information Produced by Entity (IPE) Control design and effectiveness assessments SAP reports and tables supporting financial controls Control remediation and deficiency management Experience supporting management and external auditors during SOX certification or audit activities. Strong understanding of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR). Preferred Qualifications: CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments Experience working in regulated or publicly traded organizations
