Job summary
Our client, located in the East End, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful organization while utilizing your accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative skills in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide administrative support for daily business operations, including document management and general office administration Assist with bookkeeping functions, invoicing, customer payments, expense tracking, and accounts payable activities Create and maintain purchase orders (POs) and related financial records Collect and track employee timesheets and expenses to support payroll processing, project budgeting, WIP reporting, invoicing, and profitability analysis Support the company's sister organization with administrative and financial tasks Assist with software implementation, process improvements, and the maintenance of accurate business records Communicate with staff, vendors, and customers, and perform other duties as required to support business operations Required skills and qualifications: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in administration, accounting, or bookkeeping preferred; equivalent experience will be considered Mandatory experience using QuickBooks and project-based accounting systems Experience with BQE Core a strong asset Post secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or Bookkeeping is considered an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and constructive feedback Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and priorities Highly organized with strong time management and coordination skills Proven ability to prioritize tasks and help organize workflow for others Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach to work Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check is required prior to employment offer acceptance Monday to Friday – minimum of 20 hours or 3-4 days per week - 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm Wage: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience If you are interested and believe you meet the specified qualifications, please reply to this ad with your Resume.
