Physiotherapist

Job Description As a Physiotherapist, you are responsible for the assessment of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems and the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of an injury or pain. The goal is to develop, maintain, rehabilitate, or augment function and promote mobility.  Care will take place within a residential, or institutional setting with referrals generated by a variety of sources. Client groups receiving treatment may include pediatrics for in home or school services and/or adults with medical/health concerns. The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and cardiorespiratory systems to develop treatment and rehabilitation plans. They work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to promote mobility and function for pediatric and adult clients in residential or institutional settings.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy and be registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required for travel to client residences.
