Responsibilities We are looking for candidates to join as a Consultant in the Canadian Strategy & Value Creation team. Consultants will play an integral role that involves working closely with other members of the rapidly growing Americas Strategy & Value Creation team to deliver a variety of engagements. We are looking for candidates who can: Independently perform primary and secondary research including data gathering, interviews, and surveys Develop and execute workplans including analytics, both qualitative and quantitative Develop the ‘story’ – the output to narrate the solution to the client’s problem – including written output (slides) Develop and sustain effective relationships with client stakeholders Foster an inclusive culture throughout the team and within engagements Develop a community within the team – volunteering to support business development activities or other internal practice build initiatives such as Learning, Operations, Resourcing, Recruitment, etc. Proactively build a personal network within the firm Be comfortable in a team environment that actively encourages members voicing different views to reach the optimal solution for clients Be entrepreneurial in seeking ways to deliver increased client impact Ideal qualifications for this position include: Engineering, Finance or Commerce undergrad (MA/MBA is an asset) At least 2 years of work/leadership experience with demonstrated impact with management consulting or corporate strategy experience preferred Exceptional problem-solving skills – analytical, quantitative and conceptual Finance and operational knowledge – strong understanding of profitability and cash-flow metrics, including the ability to explain how operational improvements affect financial statements Advanced modelling skills (Excel) and visualization skills (PowerPoint, Tableau and/or Power BI) Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under demanding environment, overtime and adhere to project deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated track record of communicating complex ideas and findings to senior executives A passion for delivering impact, demonstrated initiative taking, high energy and curiosity, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas Comfort with ambiguity What we look for We’re interested in talented professionals with the ability to visualize our clients’ goals and think creatively to facilitate them - often in politically charged environments. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, or Commerce, with an MBA being an asset. At least 2 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy is preferred, along with strong financial modeling and communication skills.
