Your Mission The main role of a machining programmer is to design and optimize numerical control (NC) programs to control machine tools in a machine shop. His Responsibilities Include Tool Path Optimization: Adjusting parameters to improve cutting tool efficiency, accuracy, and tool life. Drawing and Interpretation: Using technical drawings and specifications to ensure tolerances and customer requirements are met. Tool and Machining Parameter Selection: Selecting cutting speeds, feeds, depths of cut, and machining strategies appropriate for materials. Simulation and Validation: Testing programs using simulation software to avoid collisions and ensure compliant manufacturing. Operator Support: Technical assistance to machinists for installation and adjustment of production settings. Continuous Improvement: Process analysis to reduce cycle times, minimize waste, and optimize production. Production. The machining programmer plays a key role in the productivity and quality of manufactured parts by ensuring efficient machining. and precise. Responsibilities Reporting to the machining supervisor, the CNC programmer programs the CNC machine tools and provides technical support to the plant's employees. They select the appropriate tooling for the machining task to be performed. The programmer designs and draws jigs or various special tools for machining. Based on the information received, the programmer develops an optimal work procedure and communicates it to the various planning stakeholders. Required Qualifications You hold a DEC in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a DEP in CNC machining and/or relevant experience in the manufacturing industry. You have excellent knowledge of machining software programming, preferably Mastercam. You have spoken and written English, which will be considered a definite asset.
