Job summary

The Role This is a high-impact, strategic leadership position responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s sales function across sub-functions such as territory sales and key account sales. You will be responsible for designing and implementing sales strategies, guidelines, and procedures to meet business requirements supporting short and long-term business needs. You will hire, lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve regional and national revenue targets. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Execution: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including territory and key account management, to strengthen the company's market position and profitability. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, motivate, and assess the performance of sales professionals. Build employee capacity, support professional development, and enable your team to optimize their contributions to the department. Performance Management: Develop and attain key performance indicators (KPIs) for implemented sales strategies. Monitor sales volume, business opportunities, and pinpoint problem areas to ensure consistent growth. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure connection between sales and marketing functions and supervise joint work with distribution channels. Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to ensure product enhancements and launches are supported by sales efforts. Key Account Oversight: Periodically meet with key decisionmakers to demonstrate the organization's commitment to our largest and most critical customers. Sales Effectiveness: Initiate reviews of sales processes and incentive programs. Implement standardized selling models and activity metrics to ensure resources are appropriately deployed. What We Are Looking For Experience: 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity. Proven success in apparel decoration, promotional products, or commercial printing is highly preferred. Strategic Mindset: Ability to synthesize market data into actionable sales plans. Deep understanding of territory management and national account growth strategies. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and inspire a diverse sales force. Strong experience in performance evaluation and coaching. Accounts Experience: Extensive experience working with or managing accounts for industry leaders
