POSITION SUMMARY The Project Coordinator will support the successful delivery of project objectives by managing key coordination tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth communication across project teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive problem solving, and the ability to support project leadership in a fast paced, multi stakeholder environment. Reports to: Project Manager and/or Area Manager The Project Coordinator’s key responsibilities are: * Plans and implements an engineering and construction program, including defining the project plan, activities, milestones, and labour requirements * Develops and maintains the project schedule and budget - controls spending * Reads and understands Subcontract Agreements with vendors and suppliers * Provides status report of project milestones and adjustment to schedules * Identifies changes to the project schedule and its impacts (e.g. contract impact) * Identifies project labour requirements and coordinates labour with appropriate trades and subcontractors * Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables (e.g. design documents, as built drawings, etc.) * Reviews project design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications * Coordinates activities relating to technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems * Interfaces with customers to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met * Forecast and tracks change orders and scope changes * Assists and monitors safety programs and statistics as required * Writes and reviews purchase specifications and subcontract documents * Provides estimating and project management back-up as required * Performs such other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/her supervisor/manager * Support site operations by active coordination of construction activities in conjunction with Site Superintendent EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS * Post-secondary education in a Construction or Engineering discipline; or an acceptable combination of education and previous experience. * 3+ years’ experience in project engineering or heavy construction environment. * Past experience with heavy civil scopes (utilities, structural works, shoring, excavation) preferred JOB REQUIREMENTS * Good understanding of design management cycles, including RFIs, shopdrawings reviews and design changes * Excellent Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) * Proficient in software related to construction industry as required (e.g. Primavera Scheduling software, AutoCAD, etc.) * Ability to support Site staff with materials, equipment and manpower controls and tracking Salary range: 75,000- 90,000 Work Environment FCC Canada is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive culture which promotes gender equity and the recruitment of all under-represented groups in all levels of its workforce. Requirements

Candidates must possess a relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in large-scale railway or civil infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and strong knowledge of building codes and construction procedures are required.
