How you’ll make an impact As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you'll lead procurement and category management activities for assigned spend categories, helping FCC maximize value, manage supplier risks and strengthen vendor partnerships. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop sourcing strategies that support business objectives. We’re looking for a strategic procurement professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex business challenges and creating value through effective sourcing strategies. What you’ll do Lead category management strategies for assigned goods and services Develop and execute sourcing and go-to-market plans Identify and manage supplier and third-party risks Partner with stakeholders to align procurement activities with business priorities Lead supplier selection, negotiations and contract management activities Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and value Support procurement policies, procedures and best practices Build strong relationships with vendors and industry partners What you’ll bring to the team Required qualifications A bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, economics, supply chain management or a related field Minimum eight years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Strong knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and contract management Experience developing and executing procurement strategies Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and third-party risk Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Industry-recognized procurement or supply chain management certification Preferred qualifications MBA or other advanced degree Professional designation such as SCMP, CPSM or equivalent Experience leading complex category management initiatives – ideally in the Facilities area Knowledge of procurement best practices in large organizations Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset. Requirements
